In a week marked by a modest decline in Indian equities, four of the top-10 most valued Indian companies saw a combined market capitalization increase of ₹1,01,369.5 crore. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) led the surge, recording the highest weekly gain in valuation among the top-tier firms, even as the BSE benchmark index fell by 270.07 points or 0.33%.

📈 Top Weekly Market Gainers Among Indian Blue-Chip Companies
LIC’s market capitalization rose by ₹59,233.61 crore to reach ₹6,03,120.16 crore — the biggest weekly gain in the top-10 list. Other major contributors to the upside included:

State Bank of India : +₹19,589.54 crore (₹7,25,036.13 cr. total mktcap)

Bharti Airtel: +₹14,084.2 crore (₹10,58,766.92 cr. total mktcap)

HDFC Bank: +₹8,462.15 crore (₹14,89,185.62 cr. total mktcap)

These companies benefited from positive investor sentiment in the insurance, telecom, and banking sectors, even as broader indices trended lower.

📉 Top Valuation Losers: TCS, Reliance, and Others Face Decline
6 major companies experienced a combined mkt value loss of ₹34,852.35 crore. The largest fall was observed in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS):

TCS: -₹17,909.53 crore (₹12,53,486.42 crore total mcap)

Reliance Industries: -₹7,645.85 crore (₹19,22,693.71 crore total mcap)

Bajaj Finance: -₹4,061.05 crore

ICICI Bank: -₹2,605.81 crore

Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL): -₹1,973.66 crore

Infosys: -₹656.45 crore

Despite the dip, Reliance Industries remained India’s most valuable company, followed by HDFC Bank and TCS.
